SEN Information Report    

St Luke’s Catholic Primary School is in the parish of St. Luke the Evangelist and educates children from the age of 3 to 11 years.

Our mission statement is: ‘We follow in the footsteps of Jesus as we live, love and learn together’.

Children can begin in the Nursery class after reaching their third birthday and attend on a half-day basis. We currently offer 26 places in a Morning Nursery session. This session is from 8:45am till 11:45am.  We offer 8 full time Day-care places which can be funded personally or through the Extended Childcare Offer, if you are eligible and have a current code. Please contact the school for more information. Children are admitted to our Reception class in the September of the school year in which they reach their fifth birthday.

 We have an After School club which runs until 5.30 each day should you need after school childcare.

At St Luke’s School we care about the children and each other. We expect everyone including staff, children and parents to aim for excellence. We endeavour to create a happy, stimulating working environment. We believe we can offer all pupils a wide range of academic and extra-curricular activities, which will enhance their educational and social development.

After-school clubs include; Choir, Football, Art, Yoga/mindfulness and Gymnastics amongst other seasonal clubs such as Christmas Art club and revision clubs.

We believe parents have an important role to play in the education of their children and as part of our school community. Parents are encouraged to become involved in school life through a variety of ways. Parental support can only help your child. Our Family Learning sessions have included family cookery, craft classes, help with phonics and early maths, Solihull parents’ course.
