Employability Solutions Alternative Provision
Alternative Provision
Our Alternative Provision 14 - 16 is set in a residential area of Garston, Liverpool. We offer a homely setting next to a park area and a leisure centre, both of which are used daily within our curriculum.
Classes are led by a teacher and teaching assistant and have 8-10 young people.
Our learners follow a daily timetable of English and Maths followed by a creative curriculum incorporating personal development, employability skills, and preparation for adulthood.
Study Program
Our Study Program 16 - 19 is set in the heart of Garston Village, where we are surrounded by the local community and businesses.
Currently, our provision is mixed extending the opportunity to learn from each other, as well as the tutors, teaching assistants, and pastoral team around them.
Young people have a wealth of opportunities to extend experiences around employment and day trips out of the local area take place.
Our learners attend 3 days a week and follow a daily curriculum of English and Maths, alongside a creative and active curriculum, that enhances the skills required for independent adulthood.
All of our young people are offered breakfast on arrival and a home-cooked meal at lunchtime. All our learners are given bottled water, stationery supplies, and health and hygiene packs as required.
We provide a safe, warm, and loving environment to nurture our young people, supporting them to grow independently.

Three things we stand by:
- Every day is a new day – no matter how the previous day ended, the following day is fresh, a fresh start and you are welcome. You will not be judged. We are a safe place for you to learn to express yourself safely. We will listen to you, we will support you and you are part of our ES family.
- You are loved like you are our own and like you deserve to be loved. If something isn’t good enough for our children, we won’t provide the same to you.
- We are not just about education. We want you to develop in all areas of life and will support you to do so.
