The CAMHS Team Knowsley is a specialist service providing support and therapeutic intervention to children, young people up to the age of 18 and their families who are experiencing complex, persistent and severe emotional and psychological problems.
Kooth.Com are an online and face to face counselling and support service open to young people 11-25 living in or attending school in, Knowsley. Young people in care living in Knowsley or young people who are from Knowsley but resident in care in another borough are welcome to use the service. National Deaf Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a highly specialised mental health service for deaf children and young people with mental health issues. The service also accepts referrals for hearing children of deaf parents (see below for who this service is for). The team has a great deal of experience working with children and young people with SEND.
The Parent Infant Mental Health Service aim to support parents to manage their mental health, emotional wellbeing and build happy, secure and loving relationships with their babies. Sessions are offered to families either in the family home or via Knowsley’s Children Centres.
