Knowsley School Transport Information

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for Special Educational Needs Home to School Transport assistance. Further information can be found in the Knowsley Council's

If you would like a travel pass and you receive DLA or have an Education, Health and Care Plans you can apply for a travel pass through Merseytravel, which allows travel 24 hours a day 7 days a week, throughout the whole year, on buses, trains and ferries.

If you do not meet the criteria above, or the criteria above does not apply, depending on your circumstances, you can get help meeting the cost of your child travelling to school. For further information, please refer to the Knowsley Council website (https://www.knowsley.gov.uk/education-and-schools/financial-support/apply-free-school-bus-pass

If you need assistance about travel training and you are still in Education, speak to the The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is the person who takes the lead in coordinating support for children with SEND in school settings, the Early Years Area SENCO does the same thing with private nurseries and childminders.  SENCO's are the main contact for parents who have concerns about their child's SEND. and see what is available at your setting, if you need further advice please contact SEN Assessment & Commissioning.
