SEN Information Report

Our mission statement is “Together with Jesus we love, learn and believe.”

St. Aloysius Primary School has a long established history of being highly inclusive and we offer quality education for children with a wide range of needs. Our aim is to develop the talents and abilities of each, individual child in a happy and safe environment. Our school is a community that nurtures and supports each pupil and values everyone’s worth and their contribution.

Our school provision is for children aged 3-11 years as we have an onsite Nursery. We provide quality education and schooling for children, with extended school facilities of breakfast club, running daily from 8.00am – 8.45am. We also offer extensive after school activities, which also run during holiday periods.

We work in close partnership with our parents and carers to provide a rich and inclusive learning community for everyone. St. Aloysius also works closely with many external agencies to support and empower every child to achieve his/her full potential.

The Headteacher is Miss. Sheryl Wrigley, the Deputy Headteacher is Mrs. Oonagh O’Brien and the Assistant Headteacher/ Educating children with special educational needs, together with children who do not have special educational needs, in mainstream schools, wherever possible. Ensuring that children with special educational needs engage in the activities of the school together with the other children. Manager is Miss. Aoibhinn O’Callaghan.
