Huyton with Roby C.E. Primary School

SEND Policy

Huyton with Roby CE Primary School educates children from the age of three to eleven years. Children can begin in the nursery class after reaching their third birthday and attend on a half-day basis.

Your children are admitted to our reception class in the September of the school year in which they reach their fifth birthday.  We currently have 52 places across the nursery classes and 60 places in each other year group, with 2 classes of 30 in each year group.  We also have a limited amount of 30 hour offer places available in the nursery subject to availability each year and reciept of a current code.

We enjoy close relationships with our two churches – St Michael’s and St Bartholomew’s and regularly worship at church while at other times the clergy visit school to take part in events and lead collective worship.

We believe parents have an important role to play in the education of their children. Parents are encouraged to become involved in school life through a variety of ways. Your support can only help your child.

If you are seeking advice or wish to discuss any worries or concerns, you are most welcome to contact the head teacher or one of the office staff to make an appointment.

Application for a place at the school for your children can be made on the form which is available from the school office, nursery or at the back of this prospectus.

You are welcome to make an appointment to see the head teacher at any time during the school year.
