HomeStart Knowsley
HomeStart provides a support service for families - recruiting and training volunteers to support parents with young children at home. We work with families with at least one child under the age of 11.
Includes Fit4Life Health & Wellbeing programme.
New services:
Sunrise Project - 1-1 support for those with low level mental ill-health.
Out & About Project - support for parents/carers of children with additional needs and/or disabilities.
Core Offer

- 1-1 targeted support by volunteer peer supporters for familiies with a child under 11 either in the home or to access services/specialist provision in the communiy. Volunteers trained & supervised by qualified staff who negotiate Early Intervention Targeted Support Plan with family.

Fit4Life Health & Wellbeing Course

- 6 x 2hour sessions covering healthy eating, practical cooking, stress busting, budgeting advice, growing session, parenting advice, benefits of exercise, health priorities.

Big Hopes Big Futures School Readiness
