Learning Disability and/or Autism: On-line training for parents, carers & support workers
Developed with and for family members, there is now a range of on-line training for parents, carers and support workers in Cheshire and Merseyside, delivered by CANDDID (the Centre of Autism, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Intellectual Disability) at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Each module can be completed as a one-off event or you can complete multiple modules. This course is available for up to 2 years from 2019.
The training is free to access for parents, family and other unpaid carers. Employers of support workers and personal assistants can access the training for a small charge.
Each module aims to provide practical advice, solutions and tips. Training can be supported by facilitated sessions.
