Some children and families will need additional help for a little while, with support from practitioners to prevent needs escalating. We refer to this as Early Help. The Early Help and Prevention service works across Knowsley as the first point of contact for families requiring support.
(If you feel that a child or young person is in immediate risk of harm please contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub on 0151 443 2600 Option 1 then Option 1 again, or notify the police.)
Early Help supports families to come to their own solutions to the problems they are facing as early as possible, so we can hopefully work together to stop these getting worse.
If you feel that members of your family would benefit from our support, you can call one of our Early Help Co-ordinators on the numbers or emails above or you can ask someone who already knows your family to do this; for example a member of staff in your child’s school, your health worker, or GP etc.
