Local Solutions - Supported Lodgings

Support for young people age 16-19 who are potentially at risk of becoming homeless. 

The service offers family-style placements for up to 2 years. 

Knowsley Supported Lodging (KSL) also operate the Knowsley Crash Bed - emergency accommodation for homeless 16 and 17 year olds.  All referrals for the crash bed must be made via Knowsley Housing Options. 

Universal: Level 1Children having their needs met through accessing universal services such as schools, health visiting, GP and so on. Plus - Level 2: Universal PlusTargeted response by single agency to support the additional needs.  Targeted services for children and families beginning to experience – or at risk of – difficulties, for example school counselling, parenting programmes, support for teenage parents and so on.

• Support for 16-19 year olds who are potentially at risk of becoming homeless.
• Young people allocated safe place to live with family and supported in developing life skills to move on to independent living.
