Assistance cards to make travelling around the borough easier

Arriva bus company is one of a number of bus operators who have produced assistance cards, making it easier for people with disabilities, particularly those that are hidden or not easy to recognise, to use bus services.

A range of messages have been produced which tell the bus driver what help is needed during the bus journey.  The cards are discreet and easy to use – they can be downloaded from Arriva’s website and you simply show the driver the card when boarding the bus. 

The cards can also be used with other bus operators
