Acorn Farm

Part of Knowsley's Local Offer ( )

Acorn Farm is an award-winning, family-friendly attraction in Kirkby, Merseyside. We’re open 7 days a week 10am-4pm and there's always loads to see and do. Whatever the weather, Acorn Farm offers a great value, fun day out for everyone!

We have a wide range of animals here at the farm, many of which you can feed and stroke. Our animals include sheep, cows, goats, pigs, horses and chickens, small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs and even meerkats! We’re a working farm, so we often have baby animals including lambs, goat kids, piglets and chicks to see too.

During weekends and school holidays, we run small animal petting sessions and horse rides for a small additional charge, and we often have special events happening too. You can even hold your child's birthday party at Acorn Farm!

The farm’s facilities include two outdoor play areas, a woodland walk, plant sales centre and farm shop selling home-produced free-range meat, eggs and ice cream as well as toys, souvenirs, sweets and drinks. Our onsite cafe is open 7 days a week, serving a range of daily specials, hearty homemade meals, desserts, snacks and drinks. Toilet & handwashing facilities are available onsite.

We also offer an extensive education programme for schools and community groups and run a Day Service for people with learning disabilities.

Admission charges: Adults - £3.50 Children - £2.50 (babies under 12 months free)

Petting session tickets - £2 per person
