CAMHS Team Knowsley
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a specialist service providing support and therapeutic intervention to children, young people and their families who are experiencing complex, persistent and severe emotional and psychological problems. The team includes:

- Youth Offending Service/CAMHS

<p>If you think that your child has mental health needs that require support from CAMHS, you can be referred by any professional working with your child/family.</p><p>These may include: General Practitioner (GP) Health Visitor, School Nurse, Social Worker, Teacher/School.</p><p>PLEASE NOTE: Referral procedures will soon be changing with the new 'Thrive' model - referrals would no longer go into a single point of access but will come directly to the team. DBS Policy in place.
CAMHS incorporates all tier 2 services.
CAMHS also has a young person participation group for service users.
